To protect your pet from contagious diseases, it is important to keep their essential vaccinations up to date. Many contagious diseases are airborne, but just as easily can be tracked into homes by humans or other animals. Boarding kennels, dog parks and grooming salons are all areas where your pet is likely to be exposed to contagious diseases.
At Humane Society of Catawba County we understand that your pet’s care is important, but sometimes the cost of that care can be challenging. To help with this, we offer vaccines, testing, microchips, and nail trims at a fraction of the regular cost so you can keep your pet healthy and happy without worry.
We offer low-cost curbside vaccine clinics at our shelter to public pets from all surrounding counties. To schedule an appointment please use the online appointment request link.
When you arrive for your appointment, please park in the parking lot adjacent to the building and follow the instructions posted on each parking spot sign. You will be contacted by a staff member when it is your time to proceed to the building for your appointment. DO NOT park in the building’s direct parking lot until you have been told to. This disrupts the flow of appointments and will cause longer wait times. Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a carrier.
