The decision to spay/neuter your pet is an important part of responsible pet ownership. Sterilized pets live longer, happier, and healthier lives and cannot add to the pet overpopulation problems that exist in our community.

Did you know each day 70,000 puppies and kittens are born? As a result, millions of healthy, loving cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies face early deaths as a form of animal control. Others are abandoned and left to fend for themselves against automobiles, the elements, other animals, and cruel humans. This problem is a serious one in our community.

Humane Society of Catawba County is proud to offer low-cost spay/neuter to public pets at our on-site clinic. This service is available to all pets, not just residents of Catawba County.
