Buffalo Wild Wings
Grill & Bar

Catawba Valley Blvd- Hickory.

Buffalo Wild Wings in Hickory has decided to adopt Humane Society of Catawba County as their designated non-profit for 2010.

Every Monday throughout the year is Humane Society of Catawba County Day.

For every receipt that is placed in the HSCC donation box situated in the grill, Buffalo Wild Wings will donate 10% of the proceeds.

During any Monday night, if  HSCC staff, Board members or volunteers would like to eat at BWW, they have permission to approach and ask other people at the grill or bar to participate by placing their receipt in the HSCC donation box.

Taste Full Beans Coffeehouse, downtown Hickory, kicked-off their 8th annual Aroma of Art silent art auction on Thursday, January 28, 2010.  Proceeds from the month-long silent auction will benefit AIDS Leadership Foothills area Alliance (ALFA) and Humane Society of Catawba County. “We are happy to be able to benefit two very distinct and different non-profit groups with Aroma of Art” stated DW Bentley who along with Edgar Hernandez created the event.

People may register to participate in the auction at the opening reception or anytime throughout February during Taste Full Bean’s business hours.

The silent auction includes beautiful artwork, photography, pottery, woven pieces, jewelry and much more from local artists and will be on display at the Taste Full Beans Coffeehouse throughout the month of February.  Over 100 artists have currently donated items to be auctioned. The funds that ALFA and Humane Society of Catawba County receive from AOA support a variety of needs in Western North Carolina and directly benefit our community.
